Torque Specification Exceptions - Fasteners

The proper bolt and nut torque is dependent on its size. The proper torque for metric nuts and bolts are listed in Table "Exhaust Valve Seat Inserts (Diesel)" in the "General Information" section at the beginning of this manual. The exceptions to this rule are listed in Table "Exceptions - Metric Fastener Torque Specifications" . Standard (nonmetric) nut and bolt torque specifications are listed in Table "Intake Valves (Diesel)" in the "General Information" section at the beginning of this manual.‪

EXCEPTIONS TO STANDARD FASTENER TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Note: The water pump drive gear retaining nut is M24 X 1.0.
